JCB Backhoe Across America Day 13

After leaving Artesia, the backhoe crew made a quick pit stop in Roswell to see what all the fuss was about some alien that crash landed his spacecraft around there in 1947. After picking up an other-worldly companion for our gnome, we ventured into the mountains of central New Mexico, where the backhoe climbed to well over 6,000 ft. before descending into the plateau and over the Rio Grande. The desert southwest gets no less spectacular tomorrow as we make our way into Arizona.
