JCB Backhoe Across America Day 11

Gray skies over the west Texas ranch lands and tiny towns settled in from the beginning of the day. But, the change of pace was welcome in terms of both scenery and weather. Graham to Lubbock, Texas marks our fifth day in the state, and we're still not at the New Mexico border. The gnome rode shotgun all day, while a flat tire on the lead support truck hardly fazed the team.
