JCB Backhoe Across America Day 14

The high desert leaving Socorro, New Mexico rises beautifully into the mountains west of the city. Not too far out of town, the Very Large Array (VLA) sits impressively on an open plateau, visible for miles in all directions. The crew took a quick tour and break there before heading across the Continental Divide and into the White Mountains of Arizona and the small town of Show Low for the night.
